Dr. Yasir Noorani – Principal Dentist

Dr Yasir Noorani is the clinical director and works at the practice full-time. With his wealth of experience he focuses on patient’s needs and comfort. His caring and gentle approach changes the perspective of patients who are phobic to dental treatment.
General and Cosmetic Dentist
He started his career in general dentistry in 2003. He trained for postgraduate qualifications in Dundee and attained a postgraduate Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Having gained specialist experience in complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Yasir returned to general dental practice in 2006.
Implant Surgeon
Yasir has a specialist interest in implant dentistry. After working with one of the leading implantologists in the country at Harley Street for 2 years he completed a certificate in implant dentistry. Later with his experience and training he secured a diploma in Implant dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. Since then he has been updating his skills in the more complex level of this field and has invested in the state for the art equipment at the practice geared to carry out advanced level of treatment. He is a member of the Association of Implantology UK and International Team of Implantology.
Yasir is also a visiting implant dentist at other practices and is a keen mentor.
Facial Aesthetics
Yasir has also been trained by one of the leading facial surgeons to carry out wrinkle reduction treatments and dermal fillers to enhance the facial fitness of the patients.
Yasir takes a caring approach and aims to explain all treatment options effectively to ensure that the patient has input and is comfortable in the decision that he/she makes. His patients are like his extended family who he looks after to the best of his ability.
Dr Mariam Shahid Noorani – Orthodontic Specialist

Mariam is an Orthodontic Specialist and takes a keen interest in the fine details of finishing a smile. She works at the practice part-time and at the hospital as an Orthodontic Consultant the rest of the week. She is a keen teacher and enjoys the complex work in the hospital environment. This brings to our practice her expertise in planning complex cases, ensuring we can offer and manage simple and complex orthodontic treatments with ease for both adults and children.
Mariam completed her Orthodontic Specialist training and Masters with distinction from Kings College Hospital. She then went on to complete her Orthodontic Consultant Training in complex cases at the Royal London and Ipswich Hospitals. She has worked in both practice and hospital and has experience of Oral and Maxillofacial, Paediatric and Special Care Dentistry, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
In 2009 after securing her postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of England she returned to work in practice.
She takes a gentle approach and aims to explain and discuss treatment options effectively with patients to formulate a well-understood treatment plan. Her main interests are Orthodontics (Braces) and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Olivia McCormack

Dr Olivia has been working as a Dentist within the local area both in private and NHS dentistry, since her training at Bristol Dental School where she graduated with Merit.
Currently spending most of her time on general dentistry, Olivia has an empathetic approach with her patients which has enabled Olivia to treat incredibly nervous patients with great results. Olivia also provides great energy and a friendly face to many patients.
Always keen to continue learning Olivia has partaken in many post-graduate courses and will shortly be embarking on a Restorative Diploma. With a broad skillset Olivia is able to treat all patients to a high level, particularly enjoying working with children to ease them into the dental environment.
Over the last few years Olivia has been providing anti wrinkle treatments and filler to her patients weaved within her daily practice too.
Outside of dentistry Olivia enjoys training at the gym, which allows her to enjoy her other passion as a foodie! On the weekend Olivia will either be found out shopping or often at new restaurants locally trying out the next best thing.

Dr Puneet Chopra

Puneet graduated from the prestigious Royal London School of Dentistry in 2013 after previously completing a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Kings College London. He has also completed the MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Puneet is an enthusiastic and friendly dentist, who is extremely dedicated to his profession. He enjoys meeting new patients and providing high quality painless treatments, in a relaxed atmosphere. Puneet understands the importance of treating each of his patients as individuals, and prides himself in being able to offer different treatment options to suit each patients wants and needs. His calm and collected demeanour helps to keep nervous patients at ease. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and helping his patients achieve a functional, healthy and beautiful smile. He enjoys attending various courses to continue developing his knowledge and skills, as well as keeping up to date with the latest changes in Dentistry.
Outside of Dentistry he enjoys going to the gym, experiencing new cuisines and has a strong passion for travelling and exploring different cultures.
Wendy Aitken
Hygienist

Wendy will be joining us in January 2021, and has been a hygienist in the local area for many years and is a Cobham local.
She has a wealth of experience and knowledge, with a kind and gentle approach to her work.

Amie is one of our hygienists and qualified from Eastman dental Hospital with a first-class BSc.
Amie is passionate about high quality patient care and strives to provide a holistic approach to periodontal maintenance.
When not working, Amie enjoys being outdoors, keeping fit and healthy and spending time with friends, family and two french bulldogs!”
Kathleen Stribling

Kath joined us in April 2018 to train to become a dental nurse. She has now passed her exams and is a fully qualified dental nurse. Kath is great member of the team and the Practice is very proud of her.

Kelly joined the Hollyhedge Team in April 2021
She is new to the dental industry but has taken to her new role well and is enjoying learning new skills. We are looking forward to supporting her throughout her course and training.

Charlotte Niedermeier
Receptionist
Charlotte joined our team as a receptionist in August 2024 and has quickly become and integral part of our practice. She is known for her kindness, compassion, and attentiveness, consistently providing a warm and welcoming environment for all of our patients.
Charlotte’s friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills help create a positive first impression,ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well cared for from the moment they arrive.
In her role,Charlotte works diligently behind the scenes, coordinating with the rest of the team to facilitate smooth daily operations. She is highly organised and detail-oriented, managing patient appointments, handling inquiries and assisting with administrative tasks to maintain an efficient workflow. Her proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile demonstrate her commitment to providing an exceptional service.
Charlotte is also eager to expand her knowledge and has expressed an interest in pursuing dental nursing training in the future. This ambition reflects her dedication to personal and professional growth and her desire to contribute even more to the practice.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her friends and family, which helps her maintain a balanced and positive outlook. She is very much looking forward to greeting you personally during your next visit to our practice a she always ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Dr Rudi – Sedationist

Dr Rudi obtained his medical degree at Stellenbosch in 2000 and has been working in Emergency Medicine in the UK from 2003 until 2018. He has kept his ALS and PALS certificates current over the last 20 years.
In 2008 he started working in NHS Dental Sedation Referral Centres in and around London. Due to the high turnover in these clinics, he has done over 20 000 sedations in adults and children by 2018. In 2014 he acted as honorary lecturer for University College London in their post-graduate dental sedation course and in 2016 he attended his first international course and conference in the US on Paediatric Sedation, and since then has been passionate about children’s sedation. In 2015 he started providing private dental sedations and set up a Sedation Service in 2017.
In 2020 he set up clinical governance in paediatric sedation for out of hospital treatments in line with the national guidelines and hence expanded his service to include children. He has a team of friendly, highly trained and experienced nurses who joins him with children’s sedation.
In 2022 the Service has rebranded to become Advanced Sedation Ltd and had registered as a Designated Body with the GMC.
Dr Rudi is registered with the GMC and indemnity with MPS. He is a member of ADA, SAAD and Medsu. He has been Chair of the ADA (Association of Dental Anaesthetists) from 2020-21 and currently still sits on the ADA Council.

Bindu Pisavadia is an accomplished Practice Manager with over 30 years of experience in managing dental practices. She is known for her strategic approach to practice management, her ability to lead diverse teams, and her commitment to enhancing patient care. Bindu has a proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving patient satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Her diverse experience includes managing dental practices, where she has demonstrated exceptional skills in coordinating dental care services, optimising practice workflows, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Bindu enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
