Dr Yasir Noorani works at the practice full-time. He started his career in general dentistry. He later moved into hospital dentistry, securing a postgraduate Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He returned to general dental practice in 2004. Since then he has pursued his interest in restorative and implant dentistry. Yasir takes a caring approach and aims to explain all treatment options effectively to ensure that the patient has input and is comfortable in the decision that he/she makes. Dr Noorani has taken certified courses in cosmetic dentistry, implants and invisible braces. He is a regular attendee at professional meetings and postgraduate courses and keeps up-to-date with new technologies and treatments.
Dr Mariam Shahid works at the practice part-time. She started her career in community dentistry. She later moved into hospital dentistry and is currently working towards securing her postgraduate Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and that of Edinburgh. She is also a clinical fellow in orthodontics. Dr Shahid has an interest in oral surgery and orthodontics alongside general dentistry. As members of the British Dental Association, our dentists are able to maintain the high-quality of dental care we provide through advice, meetings and courses.
